UNIFORMS
Here is an example of each level uniform and where to put all the badges and Journeys and pins. I have found that the absolute best way to get the patches and badges to stay on is to sew them down. Most of our girls who ironed them on had problems with them coming off a lot. The colored tab that is on the right, I found that the pins on the tab stay a little better if you pin them through the tab and the vest. Also that way the tab is not always flapping around!

PATCHES
I order most of the patches for the troop online through Snappy Logos. The patches off this site are always so pretty and colorful. Also all the colors are so vivid! Another plus is that the patches are only $.74 each, with a $5 flat shipping charge!
So what I do is we have awards ceremonies every 3-4 months, I wait and order the patches needed right before we have awards. That way I don't have to $5 shipping charges all the time!
If I don't find a patch that matches an event we have gone to or activity we have done, that is when I usually order them from the Girl Scout store. With a big group of girls I like paying $.74/patch instead of $1.25 or more/patch.

- DAISY

LEFT: When I did my daughters vest we started the petals down too low, and couldn't fit any of the rectangle journeys under the leaves. So on my daughters vest all 3 of her journeys are on the left side of the vest, which I actually like better because it makes the vest look more even.
RIGHT: This is the example that Girl Scouts has about how to put badges on the vest.
BROWNIES

As you can see there are different ways that you can do the badges on the left side of the vest to make them fit. I suggest putting the flag, council ID set, troop crest, membership pins, bridging, and extra pins starting as high up on the left side as possible. That way you will have plenty of room for the badges to fit.
- JUNIORS
Juniors are very similar to the Brownies, just with a few extra things they can earn on the left side and the Bronze award that they can earn on the top right!
